The first book I read was about Sr. Alphonasa, some three decades back. But, I do not feel anything special about her being sworn to the Sainthood by Vatican. For the Catholic Church in Kerala, its an opportunity to collect more money from the believers, other than that her Sainthood is of no use to the society.
